Asian Dipping or Saute Sauce

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons low salt soy sauce

2 tablespoons of spring or filtered water

2 teaspoons of rice wine vinegar

1 teaspoon of brown sugar 

1 teaspoon of sesame oil

1 small green onion

1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper(optional)

1 clove of chopped or minced fresh garlic (optional

 

Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and blend well.

2. Serve with steamed vegetables, noodles, tofu or other protein source.

3. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Recipe could also be doubled and added to a pan as a saute sauce for sauteeing vegetables, etc.

Suggested vegetables:..broccoli, zucchini, red or green peppers, onions, carrots, etc.
